Mizna is pleased to co-present the screening of Soleil Ô by influential director Med Hondo.

A bitterly funny and stylistically explosive attack on Western capitalism and colonialism, Soleil Ô follows a West African man’s immigration to Paris. Hondo’s landmark film blends narrative storytelling with animation, documentary, musical numbers, folklore, and slapstick.
