Mahmoud Alyazji is a Palestinian writer, translator, and editor. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Minnesota in Asian and Middle Eastern Cultures and Media, focusing his research on the Gaza Strip, where he grew up. He is passionate about filmmaking. His writings appear in Electronic Intifada, Mondoweiss, Palestine Chronicle, and We Are Not Numbers.
