To mark the 35 years since the massacres at Sabra and Shatila and the 50 years since the Naksa (the 1967 War), and in honor of nearly 70 years of occupation of Palestine, join Mizna for an evening of story sharing followed by a Ismail Khalidi’s play Sabra Falling, presented by Pangea World Theater. The wonderful Professor Joe Farag will be moderating the event.

– September 16, 3pm – 4:30pm • History and Theater: Telling Stories that have been Silenced, a conversation between Rashid Khalidi and Ismail Khalidi at East Side Freedom Library. Free and open to the public.
-October 1, 11 am • Join us for a second story sharing event at this year’s Twin Cities Arab Film Festival at St. Anthony Main Theatre after the Dreaming of Palestine short film series.
