In this two-part virtual workshop, Molly Poganski, Minnesota Center for Book Arts Studio Technician, will share knowledge about the development of Arabic printing type and press as well as its historical significance as a tool of social and political movements. In the second part of the workshop, Molly will demonstrate the letterpress printing process and print an edition of posters designed by Lamia Abukhadra.
