Join us at the Center for Fiction in New York to launch  Zein El-Amine’s debut collection of short stories Is This How You Eat a Watermelon?. El-Amine will be joined by Hala Alyan to discuss their beautifully insightful stories of complex human experience under the shadow of war.

Lambda Literary Award winner Zeyn Joukhadar moderates this conversation on survival, love, sorrow, betrayal, and joy.
