Mizna presents a retrospective of Hadi Moussally’s short films, with the filmmaker in attendance from Lebanon. Hadi combines a multifaceted filmmaking approach with a very clear discourse on what it is to be gay and Arab, both in his country of origin and in his adopted countries.
This screening is followed by a discussion with visiting filmmaker Hadi Moussaly and his frequent collaborator Olivier Pagny.

Mizna celebrates the twentieth edition of the Twin Cities Arab Film Festival, embracing the theme Looking Forward, Looking Back, September 23–27, 2026, at the Main Cinema and Walker Art Center.
