Calling all Arab bookworms! Mizna will be hosting a monthly book club for Arab and Arab-adjacent folks, including Arabs, Muslims, North and East Africans, Arabic speakers, and anyone with a connection to the SWANA region. The group will meet monthly to read and discuss books written by authors from the Arab world. Membership is informal, and discussion will be loosely structured. While non-Arab folks are most welcome, the group and discussions will center Arab experiences.

The first meeting will be held Wednesday, April 17 at 6 pm at Mizna HQ. We’ll be reading Hope and Other Dangerous Pursuits by Laila Lalami.
