Mizna+RAWIFest will be held October 26–28, 2023. The festival will be modeled as a festival which centers and uplifts intersections of literary and performance arts. Mizna+RAWIFest will be presented as hybrid, with face-to-face activities held in Minneapolis.
We are seeking proposals for panels, workshops, readings, and performances to be presented at the festival from emerging and established artists.
We welcome applicants from a broad range of artistic disciplines, including but not limited to: poetry, visual art, fiction, oral storytelling, individual performance art, theater, music, and intersections thereof. Mizna+RAWIFest has the aim of engaging a wider range of performance and literary artistic traditions with lineage of the Southwest Asian and/or North African regions.
The deadline to submit proposals has been extended to June 5, 2023.
