Schubert Club’s 2022-2023 Featured Artist, harpist Bridget Kibbey, will be joined by Iranian vocalist Mahsa Vahdat and percussionist John Hadfield. The program takes us on a journey from Persia to the baroque courts of Spain to South America and to lands in the U.S.A. Works featured include music by J.S. Bach, Isaac Albéniz, Manuel Valera and vocal improvisations by Mahsa Vahdat on the poetry of Hafez and Rumi.
