This fall, learn how to play the Arabic drum (derbeke, darbuka, doumbek, Arabic tabla) with Professor Khaldoun Samman in an ensemble setting. Even if you've never played this drum, you will learn all the important rhythms of Arabic music.

2015 Autumn Arabic Language Classes

A Joyce Foundation Fellow through Mizna, Moheb Soliman documents his journey across the Great Lakes Borderland of Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie and Superior. Moheb began his exploration in June and will last till October of 2015. H.O.M.E.S is a project exploring the place of nature in modernity, identity and belonging.
